Publishes odds

Publishes drop odds

Shows the chance of every item before you pay for a random reward, or requires the games on its platform to.

Fair · Good practice

Showing the odds doesn't make paid randomness safe, but it lets players and parents see what they are paying for.

What it means

Where its games sell paid random items, the company publishes the probability of each reward before you buy; if it runs a platform, it requires the games sold there to do the same. It is a minimum standard of honesty, not an endorsement of loot boxes: a game can show its odds and still be built to keep you spending.

How we apply it

We add it when the company shows complete odds for every paid random item in its current games, or has a published platform rule requiring disclosure, checked against its own pages or policy. Rarity tiers without numbers don't count.
