A company tied to real-money gambling has a direct stake in the same psychology that keeps people betting.
What it means
The company belongs to a group that runs real-money gambling (casinos, betting, slot machines or online casino apps), or owns such a business itself. It doesn't mean its games involve gambling, but the know-how and incentives behind gambling products, from retention tricks to chasing big spenders, are close to home.
How we apply it
We add it when the company, its parent or a sister company with the same owner operates real-money gambling, from company filings or reliable reporting. Making a game with simulated casino content isn't enough on its own; that shows on the game itself as a content label.
