Game Freak disclosed a server breach that exposed staff data
Game Freak said a third party gained unauthorised access to its servers in August 2024 and that the names and company email addresses of 2,606 current and former employees and contractors were leaked; it apologised and said it had rebuilt and checked its servers. The company's notice listed only staff and contractor data, not player data.
